Working together to benefit Episcopal Deacons, the Church and the world.
The Association for Episcopal Deacons (AED) is a professional association of persons and dioceses within The Episcopal Church and The Anglican Church of Canada. AED’s mission is to support deacons in their unique call to empower all baptized persons in their call to diakonia, service to the world in the name of God.
AED will use donors’ gifts to adapt its work to support today’s deacons, and to increase access to the order for nontraditional candidates. |
The Fund for the Diaconate of The Episcopal Church was founded in 1927 by the Order of Deaconesses to assist their sisters in retirement. The Fund continues to this day to assist deacons in financial need, primarily near the end of life.
The Fund will use donors’ gifts to expand its mission to provide all deacons with adequate tools for personal financial stewardship and funds for continuing education, and to envision new ways to attend to the general welfare of a rapidly growing diaconate. Visit The Fund for the Diaconate |
